Job summary

As a Sr Process Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Joining/Welding group, you will develop, optimize, and scale joining/welding processes (laser, resistance, micro) for cardiovascular and neurological medical devices. You’ll partner with design, operations, quality, and suppliers to launch new products and improve existing lines, with a focus on laser and resistance welding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with welding or other thermal joining methods in a regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work with cross-functional teams; familiarity with DMAIC or structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional support members to understand scope and timelines.
• Lead welding process documentation, control plans, validation protocols/reports, and engineering change orders.
• Execute validation work for process qualification, including running processes, data analysis, and reporting.
