Job summary

Applied Materials in Kalispell, MT is seeking an experienced Advanced Welder. You will operate TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment, read engineering drawings, and fabricate complex welded assemblies. You may train junior welders and ensure safety and cleanliness in the shop while meeting project timelines.

The role requires precision with measuring tools and the ability to troubleshoot drafting issues, contributing to high-quality components for our manufacturing lines.

Qualifications

• Advanced welder capable of operating TIG, MIG and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using measuring tools and shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment and shop tools.
• Train Welder I and II as needed.
• Read drawings and troubleshoot drawing issues.
• Cut stock using measuring and cutting equipment.
• Fabricate miscellaneous welded assemblies and simple frames.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety requirements.
