Job summary

Martin Marietta's Raleigh District seeks a Senior Maintenance Welder to safely repair and maintain plant industrial equipment and machinery, including conveyors, shakers, gearboxes, fixed and mobile equipment. You will troubleshoot, fabricate, perform preventative maintenance, inspect work sites daily, operate loaders or haul trucks as needed, mentor junior staff, and support the maintenance team under

Qualifications

• Three years welding and maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Safety conscious and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment, often in out of position welding.
• Maximizing performance by performing repairs and ensuring preventive maintenance.
• Performing fabrication and erection of processing and mobile equipment repairs.
• Completing daily pre- and post-inspection of the working area.
• Operating loaders and haul trucks as needed, safely.
• Mentoring, training and providing technical advice to less experienced staff.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

This position is responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery. The maintenance welder will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of equipment to include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary.

Martin Marietta is seeking a Senior Maintenance Welder to join our team. The ideal individual will be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently repairing and maintaining plant industrial equipment and machinery. The Senior maintenance welder will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of equipment to include conveyor systems, shakers, gearboxes, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary.

Raleigh District

Hours: 6:30AM - 4:30PM, weekends as necessary

A typical day for a(n) Senior Maintenance Welder may include:

• Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment often in out of position welding
• Maximizing performance of equipment by performing repairs and ensuring preventative maintenance is completed on a timely basis
• Performing fabrication, erection of processing equipment and repairs to processing equipment and mobile equipment
• Completing daily pre and post inspection of working area
• Operating other equipment such as loaders and haul trucks in a safe manner as needed
• Mentoring, training and providing technical advice to less experienced staff regarding maintenance repairs, welding and safety procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
