Position Description

Sundyne is looking for certified welders to build complex machine kits for each of our product lines. Responsibilities include fitting hardware to specifications per engineering drawings, bending, welding tube assemblies, and assembling machines to their final state.

Senior Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble highly engineered centrifugal pumps and compressors.
• Run testing protocols for pumps and compressors, analyze test data, and interface with engineering, customers, and inspectors.
• Perform GTAW welding.
• Achieve precision pipe fitting and tube bending.
• Fit and assemble pipe and tubing along with large and small components.
• Assemble complete equipment builds (unit and kit) according to blueprints.
• Assist with testing of components and systems, interfacing with customers and inspectors.
• Communicate timely to management on work status, backlog, and equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Willingness to work extra hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
• Practice good housekeeping and preventative maintenance in the work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment following all safety policies.

Compensation Details

Hourly: $23.00 - $30.00

Additional Compensation

The hourly rate will be determined based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, and may include an annual bonus and relocation bonus as per company policies.
