Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a WebView Developer for a 6-month contract to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale WebView solutions bridging web and native mobile apps on iOS and Android.

You will embed and optimize WebViews, implement JS-to-native bridges, integrate RESTful APIs, ensure security, and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and DevOps to support CI/CD and end-to-end deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mobile app development experience on iOS and Android.
• 3+ years building WebView-based solutions (Android WebView, iOS WKWebView).
• Proficiency in Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift/Obj-C for iOS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale WebView solutions for iOS and Android.
• Embed and optimize WebViews within native apps for seamless UX.
• Integrate web apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop JavaScript-to-native bridges for secure two-way communication.
• Implement secure WebView communication between web and native layers.
• Enable native features (camera, geolocation, biometrics, notifications) via WebView bridges.
• Ensure cross-device compatibility and responsive design across OS versions.
• Address performance issues in JS execution and rendering engines.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and DevOps for CI/CD deployments.
