Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced WebMethods Integration Architect to design and implement end-to-end integration solutions across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will define CDMs, schemas, and patterns, while building scalable services and APIs using the webMethods suite.

The role requires expertise in Flow/Java services, adapters, B2B/EDI, and API management, with a focus on performance, security, and mentoring junior teams.

Qualifications

• Analyze complex business requirements and design end-to-end integration solutions using Software AG webMethods suite (Integration Server, Broker/UM, Trading Networks, MWS, API Gateway, Optimize, etc.).
• Define canonical data models, message schemas, and standard integration patterns (publish/subscribe, request/response, asynchronous messaging, guaranteed delivery).
• Architect highly available and scalable integration solutions across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and deploy Flow and Java services and adapters (JDBC, SAP, MQ, JMS, HTTP/S, REST, SOAP).
• Implement B2B/EDI integrations via Trading Networks (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP, RosettaNet, custom flat files).
• Develop and expose REST APIs and SOAP Web Services; manage via API Gateway with throttling, authentication, and monitoring.
• Optimize mappings and transformations (XSLT, XML, JSON, flat files).
• Perform code reviews, profiling, and tuning for performance and resource optimization.
• Monitor IS session handling, thread utilization, and cache strategies; tune messaging (Broker/UM/JMS) for throughput and reliability.
• Manage integration server environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) with clustering, load balancing, and DR; handle deploys and upgrades.
• Enforce security (SSL/TLS, signatures, WS-Security, OAuth2, JWT, API keys) and RBAC in IS, MWS, and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with architects, DBAs, middleware, and infra teams; mentor junior developers and offshore teams.
• Lead knowledge sharing and best-practice sessions; collaborate on cloud connectors and iPaaS (webMethods.io, API Cloud).
• Enable microservices integration with containers and CI/CD pipelines (Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
