Job summary

I8IS - Infiniti Software Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Blockchain Developer to design, develop, and deploy Web3 components for our enterprise platforms in New York/New Jersey. The role emphasizes smart contract development, backend integration, and secure on-chain operations.

You will work across Java/Spring and Node.js backends, integrating libraries like Web3J, Web3JS, and Ethers.js, while ensuring scalability and security in a distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2–4 years in Web3/blockchain development and smart contracts.
• 3–5 years backend development with Java/Spring or Node.js.
• Proficiency in Solidity and testing frameworks (Hardhat/Foundry/Truffle).
• Hands-on with Web3 libraries (Web3J, Web3JS, Ethers.js, Viem).
• Strong knowledge of blockchain fundamentals and token standards.
• Familiarity with permissioned networks (Hyperledger Besu, Fabric, Corda).
• Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven systems.
• DevOps familiarity: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Web3 components for enterprise platforms.
• Build back-end services interfacing with public/permissioned blockchains.
• Develop, test, and audit Solidity smart contracts for security and gas efficiency.
• Integrate Web3 libraries into Java/Node.js backends.
• Implement asynchronous, event-driven architectures for on-chain events.
• Collaborate with architects to design scalable, secure Web3 infra.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
• Support custody solutions, tokenization, and DeFi/TradFi bridging.
• Produce technical docs: contract specs, guides, architecture notes.
• Stay current with Web3 protocols, Layer 2, and tooling.
