Job summary

Oscilar is seeking a Staff JavaScript Developer to design, build, and optimize our Web SDK for browser fingerprinting, identity verification, and behavior analytics. This role focuses on SDKs rather than UI, requiring deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies.

You’ll lead architecture, performance, and security efforts across teams, delivering scalable, developer-friendly solutions and collaborating with product, design, and QA to meet high standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of web development experience, with at least 3 years building and maintaining SDKs.
• Proven track record contributing to open-source projects or GitHub portfolio.
• Strong understanding of browser environments, privacy, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of a high-performance Web SDK for browser/device data collection and analysis.
• Design and implement device fingerprinting and behavior analytics algorithms.
• Build and maintain a CI/CD pipeline with cross-browser testing and release cycles.
• Continuously optimize SDK performance to minimize resources and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and security best practices to enhance SDK capabilities.
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product, design, and QA teams.
• Ensure data privacy and security principles are embedded in the SDK’s design and implementation.
• Drive innovation for browser-based risk, fraud detection, and device analytics.
