Job summary

Perplexity is seeking a Senior Web QA Engineer to join our Web QA team and ensure the quality of our core web experience used by millions daily. You will test web products, work closely with engineers to report and resolve issues, and ensure consistency across Perplexity surfaces.

You’ll run cross-browser and responsive testing, perform end-to-end checks, and help maintain comprehensive test documentation while improving QA processes and product quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience on web apps.
• Hands-on testing across browsers and responsive layouts.
• Experience with integration and end-to-end testing.
• Strong communication with engineers and product teams.
• Proactive use of AI coding tools for debugging.

Responsibilities

• Test Perplexity’s web product across browsers, devices, and sizes.
• Run end-to-end integration tests with other Perplexity products.
• Prioritize bugs with engineers and write clear bug reports.
• Create and maintain test docs like test cases and checklists.
• Analyze high-impact issues and share QA process insights.
• Fix small issues and ship quick, low-risk fixes.
