Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to advance the pharmacy experience and healthcare outcomes at scale.

You will join an engineering team responsible for prescription processing end-to-end, with a focus on backend/full-stack Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, building high-volume, scalable systems while mentoring teammates. This is a remote-friendly, full-time role with equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies.
• Expertise in architecting complex, maintainable, scalable systems.
• Strong fundamentals for high-volume, resilient software.

Responsibilities

• Increase intake automation rate by leveraging LLMs to parse unstructured data from prescriptions.
• Accelerate pharmacist workflows by integrating dispensing history and risk scores into pre-dispense safety checks.
• Architect foundations for an extensible inventory management platform.
• Mentor other engineers and promote best practices in software development and design.
