Atlantic.Net in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Web Developer to architect, build, and deliver features that enhance cloud reliability and performance. You will collaborate across product, engineering, and operations to shape Atlantic.Net’s Cloud platform.

The role requires strong development skills across web technologies, virtualization, containers, databases, storage, and security, with a focus on scalable front-end interfaces and APIs.

Qualifications

• Passion for web/software design and programming.
• Computer Science degree or cumulative relevant experience.
• Expertise with PHP, JavaScript or Python.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Automation knowledge for scalability and reliability is a plus.

As an Atlantic.Net Senior Web Developer, you will help architect, build, and deliver systems that add to and improve the feature set, reliability, scalability, and performance of Atlantic.Net’s Cloud. You will work closely with multiple teams and departments to deliver on our mission of simplifying Cloud Computing for everyone.

You should have a passion for working with different technologies such as web, virtualization, containers, databases, storage, and security. Qualifications

• Passion for web/software design/programming and helping create Atlantic.Net’s future
• Computer Science degree or cumulative relevant experience
• Expertise with at least one of the following languages: PHP, Javascript, Python
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts in clear and concise terms
• Recognition of the importance of automation on scalability and reliability
• Ability to define priorities and set appropriate expectations
• A plus if you have experience dealing with security in a hosting environment or distributed systems
• Knowledge of containers, virtualization, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems a plus
• Strong analytical, pattern recognition, and troubleshooting skills
