Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a seasoned Web Designer to support a direct selling and consumer goods client. You’ll define look and feel for the company site and email content across platforms, with 80% web design and 20% maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, CS or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of website design and front-end development using HTML/CSS.
• Strong graphics creation and web optimization skills.
• Experience with responsive web design, UX/UI, WCAG accessibility, mobile-first design.
• Experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and reusable components in Figma.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, edit, optimize, and enhance the eCommerce website using Sitefinity and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma.
• Translate mobile-first designs into responsive HTML with Bootstrap.
• Create UI concepts, wireframes, mockups, and reusable components in Figma.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Review site content for accuracy, usability, and usability improvements.
• Stay current with web technologies and UX best practices; support on-call messaging when needed.
