The selected candidate will guide program plans, budgets, and upgrade strategies, review contractor work, and help establish documentation processes to ensure effective control and execution. Travel is limited but possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• At least 15 years' experience in weapon systems engineering, threat engineering, or related fields.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Remain current on threat information and ship self-defense tactics.
• Assist in strategic and programmatic planning and roadmaps.
• Review technical documentation, plans, and proposals for compliance.
• Develop documentation guidelines to manage requirements and processes.
• Support system upgrade documentation and planning activities.
• Provide inputs on effectiveness, risks, and counter-threat strategies.
