Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking a Senior Trust/Fiduciary Advisor within Wealth Management in Chicago. The role leads complex, high-net-worth client relationships and delivers fiduciary and administrative services with guidance from the service team and client advisors.

You will oversee a large AUM portfolio, apply fiduciary standards and laws, provide advisory solutions, mentor colleagues, and coordinate with external professionals to meet client goals. JD/CFP/CPWA designations are preferred.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years’ experience as a relationship manager in trust administration, estate administration or related fields.
• Experience with high net worth (HNW) and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients.
• Ability to manage a complex portfolio of over a million and/or billion in AUM.
• Knowledge of fiduciary and financial products, tax, legal and operations.
• JD and/or CFP/CPWA designations strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead client conversations for life-driven wealth management and advise on NT’s products and advisory solutions.
• Collaborate with client service teams and external professional advisors for timely service and issue resolution.
• Provide leadership on fiduciary projects and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with fiduciary standards, policies and risk management processes.
