Job summary

Mesirow is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to join our growing Southeast platform. The ideal candidate will cultivate client relationships, develop a practice built on fee-based, discretionary portfolios, and work with a team to deliver comprehensive investment and wealth planning solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a HNW RIA setting, strong business development capabilities, and relevant licenses/designations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in high-net-worth (HNW) RIA environments.
• Strong drive for business development with local networking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Series 65 license preferred.
• CFP designation preferred.
• Experience with Black Diamond and eMoney software.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize network to build relationships and pipeline of qualified leads.
• Progress leads through the pipeline to onboard as new clients.
• Analyze client financial information to determine strategies.
• Implement investment recommendations suitable for clients.
• Implement financial planning recommendations with client portfolios.
• Monitor market trends and adjust plans as needed.
