HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Upstate New York to lead major water/ wastewater projects within our Water Business Group. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive project success from planning through delivery.

You will mentor staff, oversee budgets, and contribute to strategic planning while maintaining HDR's employee-owned culture and commitment to community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years related experience.
• PE license recognized by the licensing board and active status.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of large engineering projects.
• Serve as trusted client-facing project manager for technical delivery.
• Balance scope, schedule, and budget to deliver outcomes.
• Support business development, including proposals and client strategy.
• Direct project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Navigate regulatory environments and facilitate permits.
• Oversee project documentation, analyses, and reports.
• Monitor budgets and forecast performance; allocate resources.
