Job summary

BlueWTR is seeking a Senior Process Engineer/Design PM to lead process design and technical delivery on industrial water and wastewater projects across hyperscale data centers and related markets. You will own basis-of-design through commissioning in a design-build environment, collaborating with ARCO/Murray's national platform.

In this senior, client-facing role you will guide process scope, deliverables, and technical decisions, mentor engineers, and support business development through

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in industrial water/wastewater process engineering or design-build process delivery.
• Ownership of PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic profiles, mass balances, and basis-of-design packages on completed projects.
• Hands-on experience with membrane systems (UF/NF/RO), biological treatment, chemical feed, and solids handling.
• Strong client-facing communication; able to lead technical discussions with sophisticated industrial owners and their reps.
• Experience inside design-build or EPC delivery, comfortable with cost, schedule, and constructability pressure on process decisions.
• BS in Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design on assigned industrial water and wastewater projects; membrane (UF/NF/RO), biological, chemical, solids handling, and reuse, from FEL through commissioning.
• Own basis-of-design, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and control narratives as primary author and approver.
• Serve as the senior technical interface for clients, consulting engineers, and design-build partners; defend process decisions and translate them into executable scope.
• Drive equipment selection, OEM evaluations, technical procurement, and submittal reviews.
• Direct startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization in coordination with controls integrators and field teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables; raise the technical bar across the process group.
• Support business development through proposal input, scoping calls, and regional presence at industry events.
