Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects nationwide from our Industrial Business unit. You will oversee planning, design, and business development for a diverse client base across the United States.

You will mentor staff, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and collaborate with client service teams. Travel up to 10% and a hybrid office-based role are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of related experience in water/wastewater projects.
• PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring to engineering staff.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence.
• Oversee QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on other projects.
• Support client service leaders with marketing and business development.
• Engage with professional societies and build client relationships.
