Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Design Manager to join the Water Business Line in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead regional planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects, mentoring teams and coordinating resources across the Southwest.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a AZ PE license (or ability to obtain CA/TX licenses). You should bring 15+ years of municipal water/wastewater leadership and a proven track record in delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Design Manager to join our Water Business Line in Phoenix, Arizona. This position will help lead the regional planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects throughout the Southwest.
We are looking for an experienced water/wastewater leader who enjoys mentoring people, leading teams, and delivering meaningful infrastructure projects. This individual will help lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects throughout the southwest with a focus on Arizona, California, and Texas.

Role accountabilities:

Serve as a technical and project delivery leader for municipal water and wastewater projects throughout the Southwest, providing team leadership, technical oversight, and multidisciplinary coordination from project initiation through construction. Lead integrated, multidisciplinary project teams using staff from Phoenix and other Arcadis offices while supporting mentoring, resource coordination, and business development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer license in Arizona. A California or Texas Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain California or Texas licensure, is desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater engineering, including leadership and management of multidisciplinary projects through planning, design, and construction.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
