Job summary

Ardurra's RVE division in New Jersey seeks a Water/Wastewater Senior Design Engineer to plan, design and analyze municipal water and wastewater projects in Egg Harbor Township, Secaucus, Morganville, Cherry Hill, NJ. The ideal candidate has 7 to 15 years of relevant experience, a Civil or Chemical Engineering degree and a PE license.

The role emphasizes hydraulic calculations, reporting and coordination with townships and utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• PE license required; PE license highly valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem solving and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in Word/Excel; AutoCAD capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
• Produce reports/biddable documents for water/wastewater facilities and pumping stations.
• Engineering support to inspection department.
• Represent the firm to Townships; utility authorities; and private utilities.
• Draft concise proposals for new work; manage multiple assignments on time and within budget.
• Regulatory permitting and compliance.
