Job summary

GFT is seeking a Construction Manager for water/wastewater projects in Eastern Pennsylvania. You will lead on-site management, coordinate between client, contractor, and regulators, and ensure delivery on schedule and budget with safety and quality at the forefront.

The role requires 5–8 years of related experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management, and CCM CMAA certification (or ability to obtain). Procore and other project software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent preferred.
• CCM CMAA certification or ability to obtain CCM Certification.
• 5–8 years of related construction management experience on water/wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and deliverables; ability to read drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Construction Management Project teams on all project facets.
• Oversee on-site contract management, project controls, and coordination.
• Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specs and supervise staff.
• Respond to RFI's, clarifications, and interpretations of contract documents.
• Maintain client, contractor, and regulator relationships; support submittal reviews.
• Coordinate review of submittals and shop drawings; attend progress meetings.
• Review payments, daily reports, and quantity calculations; evaluate changes.
• Prepare monthly progress reports; assist with cost estimating and value engineering.
• Support business development through client visits and proposals.
