Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a licensed professional Civil Engineer to join our Colorado Water Resources group. With 15+ years of experience, you will help deliver multiple active projects across the region and pursue new growth opportunities.

You will manage design, permitting, and construction services, mentor staff, and lead business development for the Denver office. Office location: Denver or Colorado Springs, CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of water resources experience, including stormwater drainage.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation/OpenRoads desirable.
• Experience with drainage software such as HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM, SRH2D, FLOD2D, InfoWorks ICM, HY-8.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with staff from varied backgrounds.
• Existing client relationships in the region preferred.

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a licensed professional Civil Engineer to join our Colorado Water Resources group. With 15+ years of experience, an engineer in this role will have the unique opportunity to jump in and help deliver on multiple active projects throughout the region, and pursue new opportunities for growth.Roles and Responsibilities:Manage design, permitting, and construction services for the assigned project efficiently and responsibly.Perform business development activities leveraging your own professional network to help win work for the Denver office.Manage project delivery from start to finish without oversight to meet quality, schedule, and cost commitments, delegating work to junior and mid-level staff as appropriate.Complete site designs, perform hydraulics and hydrology calculations, and design stormwater infrastructure, grading, erosion control, & drainage plans.Actively participate in and adhere to our safety program and ensure that all team members do as well.Manage and mentor junior staff to ensure designs and plans are compiled appropriately, on time, and to a high standard.Maintain positive client relationships regularly.Required Experience:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field.15+ years of experience in water resources, including stormwater drainage.Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain within six months.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience with MicroStation OpenRoads is desirable.Experience with drainage-related software programs such as HEC-RAS, PC-SWMM, SRH2D, FLOD2D, InfoWorks ICM, HY-8, and others.Experience and proficiency in performing drainage analysis, drainage planning, and drainage facility design.Collaborative mindset; ability to work with staff from various backgrounds and experience levels.Existing relationships with clients in the region are preferred.Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.Job Location: Denver or Colorado Springs, COSalary: $150,000.00 - $195,000 + Depending on ExperienceAbout Us:For nearly a century, Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, has provided award-winning engineering, architecture, planning, environmental, surveying, geospatial, and construction management services.
