J-U-B Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Professional Water Resources Engineer for our Reno, Nevada office. The role focuses on design and project management of municipal water, sewer, stormwater, and related services, with opportunities to lead client relationships and secure contracts.

The ideal candidate has a PE license, 5+ years of municipal civil experience, and strong communication skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.S.) required.
• PE license required (Professional Engineer).
• 5+ years of qualified experience in municipal civil engineering.
• Municipal engineering background or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and project management for municipal water, sewer, stormwater, and related services.
• Develop and secure project work and service contracts with clients.
• Manage clients and projects with clear, responsive communication and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies across projects.
• Support multi-disciplinary projects across the firm.
