Job summary

CHANCORP INC. seeks a Senior Water Quality Lab Technician to perform and oversee chemical, biological, and physical analyses on water samples. This role supports daily lab operations, mentors junior staff, and ensures accreditation readiness in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong lab science background and hands‑on experience with accreditation processes and regulatory requirements governing water testing.

Qualifications

Prior laboratory experience in environmental testing and water analysis.
Familiarity with state and federal regulations for water testing.
Experience with laboratory accreditation procedures (e.g., TNI/NELAP, ISO/IEC 17025).

Responsibilities

Prepare and oversee analysis of water samples using standard procedures.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with EPA and state drinking‑water regulations.
Mentor junior staff and support lab audits and accreditation.
Maintain records and support quality control programs.
