Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Olympia, Washington is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multidiscipline project lifecycles. You will coordinate teams, manage client relationships, and ensure project deliverables are met within budget. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Professional Engineer license. Job description

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close‑out).
• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium‑sized projects with high technical complexity involving a large project staff.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects, coordinating and adjusting work effort to keep within agreed‑to budget and schedule.
• Work with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• PMP certification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project (Access experience a plus).
• Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills.
