Job summary

Stantec in New York is looking for an experienced engineer to tackle complex water and wastewater projects. The role involves business development, engineering design, managing project scopes, budgets, and quality assurance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields, a Professional Engineer license, and at least 12 years of experience. The position offers competitive salaries ranging from $134,900 to $202,500 based on location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of total experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with ability to obtain PE license in Minnesota within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform business development/application tasks and manage proposals.
• Conduct and coordinate quality assurance and quality control on projects.
• Assist project managers with project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to perform mass & energy balance calculations

Ability to develop piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe

Project management skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering

Master’s degree preferred
