Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Florida is seeking a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer to lead major wastewater and reuse design projects with emphasis on hydraulics and treatment processes. You will guide technical design, mentor staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and developing client relationships to drive projects from proposal through construction across Florida and nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of wastewater and reuse design experience with emphasis on hydraulics, treatment processes and plant design.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer
• Experience managing and designing medium- to large-sized projects with budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
• Effective communication with clients and project team
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative process design efforts for wastewater and reuse projects.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work with full responsibility over design decisions and quality.
• Supervise a team of engineers and professionals across disciplines.
• Mentor entry to mid-level engineers and participate in proposals and qualifications.
• Negotiate with clients and manage project pursuits and interviews.
• Act as project manager for mid- to large-sized projects and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client management and key decision makers.
• Provide direction to subconsultants and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Travel as required by project needs.
