Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, California, is seeking a Warhead Design Engineer to join the Lethality Team. This role will involve designing warheads and complex munitions systems, requiring a strong background in mechanical design, proficiency in CAD tools, and experience in the testing of naval ordnance systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the transition from prototype to production and will have opportunities to support testing and analysis within a fast-paced environment. A BS in engineering and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years’ work experience focused on mechanical design and testing of naval ordnance/munitions systems.
• Experience in preparing engineering documentation such as technical reports and specifications.
• Eligible for U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design warheads and munitions systems, transitioning from prototype to production.
• Create high-fidelity prototype parts and assemblies to assess performance.
• Support testing of munitions products and analyze test data.
