Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Warehousing & Transportation Environmental Program Manager to build and lead the environmental compliance program for AWS Manufacturing, Test, and Operations facilities across the AMER region, including RDCs, MFCs, and DCFCs.

Based in Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA, or Salt Lake City, UT, you will partner with real estate, facilities, and construction teams to embed environmental requirements in project timelines and contracts, and you will develop

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infrastructure builds and environmental permits.
• Experience with Phase I/II ESAs and screening for new sites.
• Understanding of regulatory liability assessments and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the environmental compliance program across W&T facilities.
• Lead due diligence for new W&T sites and oversee buildout permits.
• Establish coverage for RDCs, MFCs, and DCFCs with risk-based prioritization.
• Manage hazardous materials, stormwater, and waste-management programs.
• Collaborate with real estate, facilities, and construction teams.
• Develop and monitor environmental performance metrics and reports.
