Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Associate at our Ohio facility to receive, pick, and stage orders, manage inventory, and support loading and shipping operations. You will verify shipments, inspect discrepancies, stock shelves, and assemble orders for packing.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, at least 1 year of experience, and forklift experience. You must read English, perform basic math, and be able to work overtime and train others as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of work experience.
• Good understanding of DC workflow; ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to read and understand English; read product descriptions and shelf labels.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work overtime and participate in physical inventory.
• Maintain appropriate attendance standards.
• Ability to train and assist associates as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, picking and staging customer orders, returns, shipping and inventory organization.
• Verifying merchandise received against record of shipment.
• Inspecting and reporting discrepancies and any obvious defects.
• Stocking shelves, ensuring materials are in designated areas.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and preparing for packing and shipping.
• Identifying quantities and customer specifications.
• Entering orders, returns and related data in the computer system.
• Inspecting returned items and returning merchandise to proper shelf in the warehouse.
• Accurately completing daily inventory counts and researching discrepancies.
• Performing controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment.
• Mandatory use of forklifts, reach trucks and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
