Job summary

Schneider National in Midland, TX is seeking a Senior Warehouse Materials Handler to support warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure equipment readiness.

The role requires at least 2 years of oil and gas experience, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and strong communication skills; a valid driver’s license and DMV compliance apply. Housing option available for those living 50+ miles away.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years of oil and gas experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license and meet DMV record standards.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, material handling, or field support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and related equipment following safety requirements.
• Participate in product-specific training programs and maintain competency.
• Communicate daily operational updates to the Workshop Supervisor.
• Be available for on-call activities supporting field and warehouse operations.
• Inspect equipment, tools and materials for readiness and safety.
• Load, unload, store and stage materials in designated locations.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits for accuracy.
• Use warehouse systems/handheld devices to track inventory and activities.
