Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform general maintenance duties in the warehouse, including cleaning and maintaining power equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to read schematics, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience with powered equipment. Weekend and on-call availability may be required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining powered Material Handling Equipment.
• Bilingual preferred, English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on equipment.
• Read electrical and mechanical schematics and follow safety procedures.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and be on-call as needed.
• Occasional weekend, holiday, and overtime work.
