Job Overview

This role supports Cencora's distribution services in the U.S. through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

Full-Time | Sunday - Thursday | Sun 3:00 PM | Mon‑Thurs 5:00 PM–Finish (overtime may be required).

Pay Details

$22.00 per hour, including shift differential when applicable.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, picking, staging orders, handling returns, shipping, and inventory organization, management, and control.
  • Verifying merchandise against shipment records, inspecting for discrepancies and defects.
  • Stocking shelves and ensuring materials are stored in designated areas.
  • Using a radio‑frequency (RF) device to aid in picking, packing, or other inventory tasks.
  • Assembling customer orders by pulling items from shelves, placing them in totes, and ensuring quantities and specifications are correct.
  • Entering orders, returns, and related data into the computer system.
  • Inspecting returned items and returning merchandise to the proper shelf location.
  • Accurately completing daily inventory counts and researching discrepancies.
  • Assisting with inventory procedures as requested.
  • Performing controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment.
  • Operating forklifts, reach trucks, and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
  • Assisting in training new associates.
  • Performing related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience; one (1) plus year(s) of work experience.

Skills & Knowledge
  • Reading and understanding English language product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop cooperative working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
  • Good overall understanding of DC workflow with ability to work independently.
  • Maintenance of a clean work area to ensure merchandise remains clean and prevent injuries.
  • Good judgment in carrying out detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer knowledge (preferred).
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
  • Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Possibly required ability and certification to operate high‑level power equipment (20‑40 ft) such as reach trucks, picker machines, forklift, and compliance with safety standards and OSHA requirements.
  • Possibly required hazmat training certification.
  • Maintain appropriate attendance standards.
  • Ability to train and assist associates as needed.
