Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

As a Warehouse Associate in Inventory Control, your focus will be on inventory analysis and the execution of strategies and processes to ensure the inventory accuracy and service levels are achieved. In addition, you will be performing specialized wire cutting applications and other value added services within the warehouse such as subsequent manufacturing and assembling ready to install products. You will be responsible for operating a cutting machine to cut, prepare and ship specialized wire, cable and related materials to our customers’ orders.
Execute accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Audit high profile customer orders for accuracy and special requirements
Provide support to the management team and other departments as requested
Investigate and assist in resolving order/inventory discrepancies
Work closely with warehouse associates to achieve quality goals
Operate wire respooling machinery to prepare specialized wire cuts for shipment
Calculate wire respooling length based on desired completion footage
Visually inspect wire for imperfections and part number accuracy
Ability to learn and set-up stripe machine, twist machine, and etch line
Load, unload and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift or other approved device

High school degree or equivalent preferred
Forklift experience
2 years + in Operations Inventory/Quality Control environment required
Experience working with a warehouse management system
1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred
Reach truck experience preferred
Basic Computer skills preferred
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Mechanical and technical aptitude
Basic problem-solving skills
Be able to read a ruler
Basic math skills
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
Knowledge of other applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to follow established processes
Ability to work independently
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment
Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products preferred
