Job summary

Wesco, a global leader in distribution and logistics, is hiring an experienced Senior Warehouse Associate for its Alsip distribution facility. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, and light assembly, with duties including cycle counting and housekeeping.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 12:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m.; the role offers training, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a Fortune 250 company.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchased products and enter order receipts into system
• Separate orders and place materials in proper locations
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
• Assist in loading trucks
• Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables
• Performs quality assurance inspections
