Job summary

Cencora is seeking a warehouse associate to support inbound, outbound, and internal activities across the distribution network. You will ensure accurate product movement and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in warehouse operations, and strong knowledge of inventory control, shipment preparation, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound/outbound/internal warehouse activities to support accurate product movement and order fulfillment.
• Prepare shipments, packing materials, and staging areas to meet handling requirements and dispatch timelines.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and variances to maintain inventory integrity.
• Monitor stock levels and storage conditions to identify replenishment needs.
• Investigate damaged shipments and handling issues to support timely resolution.
• Document shipment status, inventory updates, and exceptions.
• May perform controlled substance picking, stocking in cage/vault or refrigerated environment.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday; 5:00am -3:30pm

Pay Details: Pay starting at $20.20 with potential for up to $23.95 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses

Responsibilities

• Processes inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities to support accurate product movement and effective order fulfillment.




• Prepares shipments, packaging materials, and staging areas to meet handling requirements and dispatch timelines.




• Reconciles inventory discrepancies, stock movements, and transaction variances to preserve inventory integrity.




• Monitors stock levels, storage conditions, and workflow status to identify replenishment needs and service risks..




• Investigates damaged shipments, handling issues, and process exceptions to determine causes and support timely resolution.




• Documents shipment status, inventory updates, and operational exceptions to maintain accurate warehouse visibility.




• May perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  Associate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge in warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.




• Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.




• Knowledge in shipment preparation, product handling, and storage condition requirements.




• Knowledge in warehouse documentation, record maintenance, and operational reporting.




• Knowledge in safety, loss prevention, and warehouse control practices.




• Ability to review and verify inventory, shipment, and operational data with accuracy.




• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve routine and moderately complex operational issues.




• Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on shipment status, stock issues, and operational requirements.




• Ability to organize work across shifting priorities and variable workload demands.




• Ability to support process consistency and continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
