Job summary

Cencora is hiring for a warehouse/logistics support role in Illinois. The position operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with pay starting at $22.28 and potential to reach $25.77 based on incentives and shift differentials.

The role includes managing transportation, receiving, storage, and shipment data, updating systems, tracking fleet activity, and ensuring accurate documentation for timely fulfillment. A CSCP or related certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
• CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies transportation, receipt, storage, and shipment information to support accurate movement of products and fleet assets.
• Updates warehouse and logistics systems with transaction details, status changes, and records to preserve data integrity.
• Tracks fleet activity, shipment progress, and inventory movement to support schedule adherence and issue identification.
• Prepares dispatch, shipping, receipt, and related documentation for accurate processing.
• Reviews routine exceptions involving deliveries, returns, inventory discrepancies, or vehicle availability and routes unresolved issues.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: Pay starting at $22.28 with potential for up to $25.77 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Sign-on Bonus: $2000.00

Responsibilities

• Verifies transportation, receipt, storage, and shipment information to support accurate movement of products and fleet-related assets.


• Updates warehouse and logistics systems with transaction details, status changes, and operational records to preserve data integrity.


• Tracks fleet activity, shipment progress, and inventory movement to support schedule adherence and timely issue identification.


• Prepares dispatch, shipping, receipt, and related documentation to enable accurate transaction processing.


• Reviews routine exceptions involving deliveries, returns, inventory discrepancies, or vehicle availability and routes unresolved issues.


• Confirms handling, storage, and movement requirements to support traceability, loss prevention, and fulfillment continuity.

Education

Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Certifications

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience

Experience: 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge in fleet operations administration and transportation support processes.


• Knowledge in warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, shipment processing, and inventory movement.


• Knowledge in logistics documentation, transaction controls, and operational record maintenance.


• Knowledge in warehouse and transportation systems used for status updates, tracking, and transaction processing.


• Knowledge in loss prevention, material handling, and operational control requirements.

Abilities

• Ability to process routine and moderately complex operational activities within established procedures.


• Ability to identify causes of routine operational issues, analyze basic data, and support issue resolution.


• Ability to maintain accurate operational records and transaction visibility across logistics workflows.


• Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts to obtain or provide operational information of moderate importance.


• Ability to support continuous improvement changes in systems and processes within defined guidelines.

Full time Salary Range*

Full time Salary Range* $34,000 - 62,370 *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
