Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment seeks a Senior Vulnerability Researcher to independently explore, reverse engineer, and exploit complex systems—from kernels to embedded platforms. Onsite in multiple U.S. locations, you will own high-impact research driving national security missions.

You will lead research, deconstruct ambiguity, build tools, and mentor other senior researchers within a cyber team. A Top Secret clearance is required, US citizenship, and relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on vulnerability research and exploit development.
• Ability to independently explore and exploit complex systems (kernels, firmware, hypervisors, embedded platforms).
• Active US Top Secret security clearance is required (with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI SAP). US Citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead VR efforts across operating systems, kernels, firmware, hypervisors, embedded platforms, and complex stacks.
• Independently scope underexplored attack surfaces, moving research from hypothesis to validated findings.
• Perform reverse engineering and in-memory analysis of compiled binaries across x86/x64, ARM, PowerPC.
• Design and execute novel exploitation techniques and evaluate mitigations.
• Build internal tools by analyzing undocumented or partially documented system behavior.
• Collaborate and mentor: review work and guide fellow researchers.
