Job summary

NALEJ seeks a visionary Senior Director of Platform Engineering to define and execute enterprise technology strategy across Platform, Cloud, and AI initiatives. You will coordinate initiatives across engineering teams, ensure secure, scalable environments, and drive proprietary product development for defense missions.

Senior leadership will establish governance, mentor high-performance teams, and partner with executives to accelerate the platform roadmap while maintaining strict RMF and Zero

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive engineering and technology leadership experience.
• 7+ years directing enterprise-scale engineering or platform orgs.
• Experience with secure, cloud-native platforms for DoD/IC customers.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, DevSecOps pipelines, IaC, and CNCF architectures.
• Proven ability to build, scale, and mentor engineering orgs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NALEJ's enterprise technology strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead and mentor teams across Platform, Software, AI, Cloud, DevSecOps, and Cybersecurity.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud/platform environments for classified and unclassified ops.
• Drive development of proprietary AI-enabled products and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure compliance with DoD RMF and Zero Trust in architectures and ops.
• Lead technical proposals and engage with customers to shape solutions.
