Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Corporate Communications in Universal City, CA to shape integrated corporate narratives and elevate the company’s reputation. You will partner with the EVP, Communications, to drive cross-business storytelling and data-driven communications while overseeing media relations and crisis response.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong writing and leadership, and collaboration across Legal, Labor Relations, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the entertainment or media industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Narrative Development: partner with the EVP to craft cohesive corporate narratives across units.
• Data-Driven Storytelling: work with analytics teams to translate data into engaging narratives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: liaise with Legal, Labor Relations, Government Affairs, Research, and Production.
• Crisis Communications: act as secondary lead in crisis situations and develop rapid response messages.
• Media Relations: build relationships with key media outlets in entertainment.
