Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to plan, design, and implement our growing systems infrastructure within a fully virtualized VMware environment.

You will ensure availability, performance, and security while collaborating with a talented team of engineers and administrators. Ideal candidates have deep expertise in VMware, SAN architecture, Windows/Linux servers, blade server infrastructure, and cloud migration to Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of direct experience with VMware vSphere 7 & 8 environments.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Server products/applications (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.).
• Experience troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and approved operating systems.
• Understanding of Windows systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and migration strategies.
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
