Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Visual Merchandising Development professional in New York to lead the creation of high-quality three-dimensional VM systems for prestige brands.

You will liaise with brand designers, NA Project Manager, and production vendors to develop Open Sell displays and counter-top visuals that meet marketing objectives. Responsibilities include evaluating designs, cost optimization, and ensuring manufacturability while coordinating with vendors to achieve

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Visual Merchandising construction and development methods within prestige cosmetics.
• Ability to read and provide direction on technical/engineering drawings.
• Excellent team player with analytical, negotiating and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review VM design renderings and select vendors for cost-effective, sustainable solutions.
• Evaluate design intent and conduct technical analysis of materials and processes.
• Liaise with vendors to discuss engineering alternatives and material choices.
• Review and approve vendors’ engineering proposals and cost savings.
• Provide technical recommendations based on cost targets and regulatory needs.
• Manage vendor development timetable to ensure timely production and launch.
• Approve or amend vendor drawings and prototypes under management guidance.
• Review testing protocols to ensure durability of displays.
