Job summary

The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) seeks a senior developer to build and maintain visualization and web applications for mission critical projects in Crystal City, VA. The role emphasizes Power Platform, data visualization, dashboards, and SOA-based solutions with strong security and regulatory compliance.

You will design, develop, test, and implement information management structures, automate reports in Power BI, and contribute to knowledge management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques for issue resolution.
• Expertise with the MS Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Power Pages.
• Proven data analysis, data visualization, data management, and dashboard development experience (DAX a plus).
• Ability to automate manual reports into interactive Power BI dashboards and optimize data processes.
• Extensive knowledge of SharePoint development and capabilities.
• Experience with Knowledge Management principles and governance.
• Familiarity with configuration management and lifecycle management concepts.
• Strong documentation of problem analysis and resolutions.
• Knowledge of US Space Force and HQ Space Force structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in JavaScript; familiar with AngularJS, HTML and CSS; SharePoint CE webpart expertise

Responsibilities

• Develop visualization/web applications for mission critical projects.
• Design and develop visualization/web apps across the product development lifecycle.
• Develop apps based on SOA principles and architectures.
• Build, test, implement, and maintain information management structures for HQSF.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and HQSF information systems.
• Follow privacy and security standards for USSF.
• Support form services, custom reporting, custom workflow development, PowerApps, Power Automate, and fixes.
• Maintain QA/QC standards on HQSF Site Collection.
• Assist in designing and customizing solutions across platforms to support HQSF.
• Ensure bi-weekly HQSF audits and oversee architectural design and content management
