Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a UI/Visual Designer to shape industry-leading digital experiences from Zagreb or Split. You’ll translate strategy into polished interfaces, work with UX, copywriters, and developers, and present designs to clients.

A strong portfolio and fluency in English are required, with mastery of Figma and knowledge of motion tools a plus. You’ll join a hybrid, growth-minded team and contribute to projects for global brands, bringing craft, AI-driven workflows, and collaborative energy to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a UI/Visual Designer role or similar.
• Experience designing websites, apps and digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design craft.
• Able to communicate with UX designers, copywriters, and developers.
• Fluent in English, able to present concepts to executives and engineers.
• Mastery of Figma; experience with motion design tools is a plus.
• Interest in AI-powered design tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translating strategy and UX into pixel-perfect interface designs.
• Work back-to-back with ux designers on the final product and delivery.
• Substantiating your design choices with annotations and animations.
• Presenting your work to clients and stakeholders and handle input and feedback.
• Taking responsibility for the highest quality of final delivery and proper implementation.
