Job summary

Abacus Group is seeking a Virtual Technology Manager (VTM) to lead technology strategy and orchestrate delivery for clients in highly regulated industries, including financial services and healthcare. The role blends infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI enablement, coordinating across engineering, security, operations, and professional services.

The VTM will oversee client engagements, drive technology adoption, improve operational maturity, and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology services in regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong communication with both technical teams and executives is required.
• Familiarity with cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization helps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary operational technology partner for assigned clients and align infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity to business goals.
• Act as technical liaison between client stakeholders and Abacus delivery teams; prioritize and drive resolutions.
• Perform hands-on technical work within scope and coordinate larger engineering efforts.
• Help clients operationalize technology initiatives in regulated environments with planning, governance, security, and modernization.
