Responsibilities

• Maintain a portfolio of diverse viruses through onboarding, culturing, and characterization.
• Perform viral and eukaryotic cell culture and develop viral culture protocols.
• Consult and collaborate with stakeholders in microbiome and pathogen detection communities.

Laboratory experience in virology

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience with plaque assays

Experience developing viral infectivity assays

Education
