Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in film/TV/commercial production or related post-production.
• English proficiency at C1–C2 level for complex guidelines and written evaluations.
• Advanced proficiency in at least two NLE systems (Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve strongly preferred).
• Experience as Lead Editor or Senior Editor or QC coordination in production environments.
• Shareable portfolio accessible to the team for evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate video editing quality across pacing, continuity, transitions, and storytelling.
• Perform technical QC: identify frame-rate, codec, color, and export issues.
• Evaluate AI-generated vs human-edited outputs; note discrepancies and quality gaps.
• Develop expert-level training content and structured feedback reflecting industry standards.
• Ensure adherence to briefs, style guides, and project rubrics.
• Provide clear, professional feedback using editing terminology.
• Support calibration of editors and QA workflows for consistency.
• Maintain high production standards in a remote, hourly contractor setting.
