Job summary

Harvey is seeking a skilled Video Editor & Shooter to craft compelling, finished videos for our content and social channels. You will edit, caption, and color-grade footage, then shoot executive content and events as part of the early Content & Social pod.

You’ll work within the Harvey Creative Studio, collaborating with C&S leads to ensure narrative direction and brand standards across channels. This role combines editing craft with hands-on shooting and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Portfolio showing social content.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Hands-on shooting with camera, lighting, and audio.
• Ability to deliver platform-specific edits.

Responsibilities

• Own edits from footage review and selects through finished assets ready for each platform.
• Find the story in interviews, event footage, and product content; recommend hooks and pacing.
• Finish videos with captions, on-screen text, graphics, music, sound design, color correction, exports for different channels.
• Build and refine recurring formats with the creative lead and C&S; use insights to improve edits.
• Manage versions and feedback through final export; ensure message clarity and platform specs.
• Shoot executive content, interviews, events, and other planned captures.
• Translate brief into practical capture plans and shot lists; coordinate coverage.
• Help executives feel comfortable on camera; align with narrative direction.
• Coordinate capture and editing time with leads and production support.
