Job summary

Forbes Advisor is seeking an experienced Editor to join our paid social and native advertising team. You will edit a high volume of social-native content and UGC, cutting across simple and documentary styles while maintaining craft and brand standards.

You will collaborate with Creative Directors, Production, and post-production to deliver finished ads for Meta, TikTok and other platforms, using AI-assisted workflows and data-driven feedback to optimize future cuts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing paid social, direct-response, or performance creative.
• Demonstrated ability to cut social-native UGC and editorial content.
• Strong editing craft with story, pacing, structure, music and finish.
• Familiarity with AI editing tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit a high volume of paid social and native ads across in-person shoots, remote UGC, and AI-generated video.
• Cut across a wide range of styles, from simple UGC to elevated interview, documentary and graphics-driven work.
• Bring excellent editorial judgment to every cut, including hooks, pacing, structure, music, graphics and captions.
• Create platform-native creative for Meta, TikTok and other short-form channels.
• Work quickly without sacrificing craft, producing high volume and many variations.
• Take creative direction and feedback and turn it into strong, finished work efficiently.
• Use performance data and testing results to inform iterations and future edits.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production and Post-Production to take projects from raw footage to final delivery.
• Work with footage from various sources and formats, including AI-generated assets.
• Ensure finished ads meet legal and brand guidelines before launch.
