We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor to find the story in everything Autodesk Flow Studio puts on screen, from launch films and feature showcases to product demos, creator content, and paid ads. You’ll join the Flow Studio creative team reporting to the Creative Director, cutting footage from live-action shoots, AI generations, 3D renders, and screen recordings into work people want to watch to the end.
Flow Studio is the creative AI platform for modern storytellers, bringing leading AI models, editable 3D scenes, characters, worlds, animation, and camera direction together in one workspace. That means much of your footage will be made in the product itself, and part of the job is knowing which shots to generate, which to keep, and how to make AI and live action sit together in one cut.
The ideal person is a storyteller first who thinks in structure, performance, and sound, edits with a director’s instincts, already treats AI generation as another source of coverage, and wants to help build how a growing creative team makes films.
Edit launch films, feature showcases, product walkthroughs, explainers, and creator content, building structure from selects, scripts, and voiceover and shaping pacing so each piece holds attention from the first frame to the last
Cut live-action shoots, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage into short documentaries, testimonials, and social stories that show real filmmakers and creators using Flow Studio
Generate, select, and extend AI footage to fill coverage, fix continuity, and build sequences that would be impossible to shoot, then match it to live action through color, grain, and sound so the cut feels like one film
Lead the sound of every piece, including music selection and editing, sound design, dialogue cleanup, and the final mix
Color and finish your edits, integrate the motion designer’s titles and graphics, and deliver final masters to spec for every channel
Version hero films into paid and social variants with different hooks, lengths, and aspect ratios (16:9, 4:5, and 9:16), and use performance results from paid and organic channels to sharpen the next round of cuts
Shape how the team’s post-production runs as it grows, including project and media organization, versioning, prompt libraries, delivery specs, and the AI-assisted editing workflows the whole team can use
Partner with the Creative Director and producer early on shoots and generated sequences so the coverage you’ll need is planned before anything gets made
6+ years of professional editing for brands, agencies, studios, or production companies, with a reel that shows strong storytelling across long-form and short-form work
Expert-level Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve skills, with comfort in review and collaboration tools like Frame.io
A great ear, with real skill in music editing, sound design, and audio mixing
Solid color grading and finishing skills, including matching footage from very different sources
Strong, current experience generating and cutting AI video into finished, published work, and an eye for which AI shots will hold up on a big screen
Experience cutting documentary, interview, or behind-the-scenes footage into compelling short-form stories
Experience editing product demos or tutorials for software or tech brands that make complex workflows easy to follow
A track record of short-form social and paid creative, with a feel for what earns attention in the first few seconds and how to version for testing
Experience setting up post-production workflows or editorial standards for an in-house team
Trailer, commercial, or film festival editing experience is a plus
Flow Studio’s launch films and showcases feel cinematic, with AI and live-action footage working together so naturally that people focus on the story
Demos and walkthroughs make Flow Studio look easy to use and leave people ready to try it
Paid and social cuts improve round over round because each new version learns from how the last one performed
Has a post-production workflow that lets editors trade work midstream, find any asset quickly, and ship faster every quarter
Is a trusted editor who can take a pile of footage and a brief and return a finished, polished film with minimal direction
